Located on the new King Charles III coastal path and the ever popular Dee Marshes Cycle Route, below are 4 recommended routes starting from the pub.
The first walk is a nearly 5 mile / 7.5km walk. We recommend starting along the cycle path towards Nets Cafe where you can enjoy a coffee and breakfast. To make the walk longer rather than turning left up station road, go through the gates and keep straight along the cycle path would take you to Burton Point where you can bird watch. Turn around and head back before you reach the Deeside Industrial Estate! Also on this walk, Burton Woods and Ness Gardens.

The second walk is slightly shorter at 5km / 3 miles. Heading north along the marsh, up to old quay lane and a short section on the Wirral Way eventually leads out to Neston Cricket Club where you can walk along Parkgate Parade. Turning around, walking past the Old Quay pub will eventually take you to the re-made section of the Charles III coastal path and back to the Harp.

The third route is a simple 10km stroll up and out of Little Neston into Neston, onto the Wirral Way to Heswall golf course and back via the Parkgate Old Baths, Parkgate Parade and the King Charles III England Coast Path.

The fourth is a longer 8.5 mile / 13.6km walk which turns around at the heritage railway station, Hadlow. The walk takes in lots of quiet paths but also returns via the Wirral Way. This is a great one for the dogs and there are plenty opportunities to cut the walk short and head back to the Harp for a pint or two!
