About us

From 1990 until 2001 my Mum and Dad, Ray and June Oldfield, ran the Harp Inn. In 2025, almost 25 years since they retired, the opportunity arose for me to make a career change after 22 years working in Neston High School's SEN department. Without a second thought, I, with the encouragement from my two sons Liam & Kieran, and much excitement from the wider Oldfield family, decided now was the perfect time to get the Oldfield name back above the door in the Harp! 

The pub is a landmark building along the Dee Marsh with over 275 years of history, the Harp holds amazing family memories for us and we know how much the area is loved locally, especially on those warm summer evenings. So please come and say hello, enjoy a glass of wine or one of our ales and make some memories with family and friends!
